What?
We have to style an expat hotel room for the assignment, here you had the choice to choose a student, working or a family. Each of these 3 has a different kind of room. You have to decorate the whole room except for kitchen and bathroom. you are going to think about practical things and materials and compositions. All of this based on a plan ground. Why?
I have chosen for student because, I am a student myself and can therefore find myself best in that. I am more aware of what is important for a student and what not. This also gives me a good idea of how I would furnish my own student room and what I can pay attention to.
Who?
The hotel is aimed at expats, that is someone who lives in another country temporarily or permanently. They have a different culture and carry it with them. They differ from emigrants in that an emigrant settles and adapts while an expat does not. Expats are often sent abroad by a company or organization. Expats are therefore not called emigrants as they often stay somewhere for a shorter period of time. This also applies to students, for example.
