The light object
DESIGN
For this project, the goal was to design a working lamp, with a preference for recycled materials. Here you can see the whole process from sketching to the final product.
Moodboard.
The moodboard had to be based on the clothes you wore that day. As you can see, I have a lot of beige, green and blue tones. mainly nature tones and so I was also thinking mostly about plants. so the sketches you were going to make were also based on the colors and shapes of your moodboard.
Sketch Phase
I started by making 12 quick sketches , without looking at examples or thinking too long. Out of those 12 quick sketches, I chose the most potential sketch to elaborate on.

As you can see my prototype is not the same as my sketch design, this is partly due to the fact that I was not in possession of the right materials. The prototype was mainly an indication of the operation and atmosphere around it. I made it from a very long piece of rough rope, which I wrapped around a frame of strong iron wire. This took a very long time but I like to keep at it and did not give up.I worked on winding the rope for 12 hours. the prototype consisted of two separate parts, which I assembled by using pieces of fishing line.
